Text

A text, between 1,000 to 1,200 words, that summarizes and explains the project, must appear on the front of Panel ‘A’. All other content is up to the team’s discretion.

Key Panel

A 300 mm x 300 mm (1’-0”x 1’-0”) PDF image representing the entry in the best way possible, is requested for display in an eventual installation. The key panel can be a single image or multiple images that capture the essence of the entry. An installation will assemble the key panels submitted by all entrants, as a collage representing the complete competition vision.

Panels

Two to four A2 size panels (420 x 594 mm or 16.5” x 23.4”) in PDF digital format are required. 3D imagery is encouraged. The letters (A, B, C, or D) must appear on the bottom right corner of each panel. The team code must appear clearly on the bottom left corner of each panel.
Team member names must NOT appear anywhere on the panels. If names appear anywhere on the panels, the competition entry will be disqualified.

Video

A video is a mandatory element for each submission. The maximum length of the video is 2 minutes. A link to a video streaming service such as YouTube or Vimeo must be submitted. Entrants are welcome to keep their videos private, as long as the password, or a direct link is provided along with the submission. Entrants should be aware that ultimately these videos may be posted online by the competition.

Eligibility

The competition is open to all interested parties, regardless of age, discipline and professional status. An entry can be submitted by an individual, a team or a firm/studio. Entrants are encouraged to work in multi-disciplinary teams.

Entrants assume all responsibility for ensuring that their entry arrives before the stated deadline. Timely delivery of the entry is the sole responsibility of the entrant.

MSOA shall not be liable for any costs incurred by any entrant in preparation of a submission.

Entrants must not communicate in any way, with any member of the jury or MSoA, about the competition or their entries, prior to the public announcement of the winners.
